My work organising the event is greatly facilitated by our long-term partnership with ENIC, our event organisers. ENIC Meetings & Events and FICPI have been working together for 25 years now and they have been an essential part of helping us to run high-quality and professional events for our members.
ENIC help us to keep our standards high, to tailor-make events to suit our requirements, and help us to find venues and organise a social schedule which offers unusual and special activities and venues. After every meeting we analyse and review the survey feedback from delegates, to inform and shape ever improving events for the future!
As well as working with us, Florence-based ENIC works with a host of high-profile clients including fashion brand Gucci, coffee chain Starbucks, and publishing house Conde Nast. The Italian events management firm has been in operation since 1964, focusing on creating unique and unforgettable events, bespoke to each client’s needs.
For this year's Open Forum in Madrid my role has focused on managing the event with ENIC’s professional expertise, and the feedback, research and help of some of our Spanish members, in order to offer an excellent venue and social events with high quality standards. The FICPI Bureau members, in particular Uwe Borchert, and the Secretariat’s Rebecca Sandland, have also been key on the organisational side of things.
We have been investigating and visiting the venues in person, to confirm that they could meet the standards that we were looking for. We are pretty sure that no-one will be disappointed this September!
We decided on Hotel Riu as it offers an excellent location, the perfect opportunity to enjoy Madrid from the very heart of the city, to enjoy the best view of the city from the roof, and for delegates to experience comfortable bedrooms and space for the technical sessions.
We look forward to welcoming you!
