Linda Norrgård leads Papula‑Nevinpat’s patent operations as the Patent Director and is a member of the company’s Management Team. She is responsible for strategy and long-term development, client relations and managing the foreign agent network. She is also a Partner in the company.
During her career, Linda has prosecuted a wide variety of inventions, with particular focus on metallurgy and mineral processing, polymer technology, pharmaceutical chemistry, and process and food technology. She has gained substantial experience in all stages of prosecuting inventions and defending IP rights. Additionally, she has extensive expertise in dispute management, including opposition and appeal proceedings in Finland and before the European Patent Office. She completed a Praktika Intern at the European Patent Office in 2011.
Linda also has long-term experience in working with startup companies and advising entrepreneurs on IP protection. She frequently speaks at various startup events and training programs. Her expertise with startups has given her valuable insight into the challenges new businesses face regarding IP issues.
Linda began her career in the IP field in 2008. She joined Papula-Nevinpat in 2019 and has since then worked in various management roles in the firm.
