Korea has been the strategic crossroads in Asia for many centuries. Korea boasts five millennia-long histories where diverse cultures meet. The country possesses fascinating scenic views of cloud-enshrouded mountains, waters of fresh mountain stream, golden rice fields and many other striking views nationwide.

The FICPI Korea 2020 Symposium provides an outstanding opportunity to be part of a great programme, which blends exciting sessions about IP portfolio building, enforcement, and strategy.

While there is no general definition of what a quality patent would be, IP practitioners know that experience, expertise and attention to some details are critical to quality drafting. Two practice sessions will give you the opportunity to hear about best practices for quality drafting.

A quality portfolio needs to keep its maximal potential for enforcement, and two enforcement sessions will provide an update about enforcement in the digital age, and the collection and use of evidence including across jurisdictions.

Great IP requires a clear strategic vision, and IP is a business as well. As a unique feature of FICPI events, Management sessions will explore very stimulating aspects such as why and how to select an IP firm to work with, the  contribution of new players in the IP game, and what it means to be a partner in an IP firm.

The FICPI Korea Symposium offers delegates multiple opportunities for high-quality networking with colleagues from all over the world, during the working and social programme.
