Kim Finnilä / Berggren Oy, Partner, Senior IP Advisor, European Patent Attorney

With an extensive background in IP, his present focus is mainly on patents and related litigation, primarily in Europe. Additionally his responsibilities include developing the conflict management team and the foreign relations of Berggren.

As a complement to his daily work, he also has a number of honorary positions and memberships in various national and international IP organizations, administrative bodies, delegations and working parties [FICPI (Chair of FICPI CET Group 7 and Member of Communications Committee), AIPPI, EPLIT, Finnish Association of Patent Attorneys, etc., and including past President of the Finnish Association for Corporate Patent Agents, past President of the European Patent Institute (epi)]. This has given him an in-depth knowledge of how patent matters are dealt with in the patent profession, in industry and with authorities, as well as in international non-governmental organizations.
