DI Dr Gerd Hübscher

Gerd is managing partner at Hübscher & Partner Patent Attorneys and active as a professional representative before the European Patent Office, the Austrian Patent Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office. He advises clients in all aspects of patent, trademark and design law, in particular, in the field of electronics, information-, communication-engineering, measurement and control technology, as well as software implemented inventions. Besides patent prosecution, opposition and revocation proceedings, he focuses on strategic advice on building intellectual property portfolios, including the prosecution of trademark and design applications.

In addition, he specialized in knowledge management in the field of IP and co-founded the company polymind in 2017, developing a software platform for supporting knowledge work and efficient communication between experts, monitoring information transformation and automating workflows with a data-driven approach.

Recently and based on polymind technology, he founded ip.courses to provide training courses in the field of IP, not only for Austrian Patent Attorney Candidates but also for experts in patent departments of the industrial sector.
