Rita ZHANG is a partner of Dragon IP Law Firm in China and Head of Outbound Division of Dragon IP. Her practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of Patent application, invalidation and litigation opinions in the fields of Electricial Engineering, Semiconductor technology, wireless & network telecom, and computer and information technology.
From 2013, Rita has been dedicated to provide overseas patent services to the Chinese clients. Rita has handled thousands of PCT international applications, US and EPO patent applications and Office Actions. Rita also invests her time to truly understand the clients’ needs and helps them to design patent strategies for their overseas patent applications, so as to align their overall business goals with the overseas patent protection.
Prior to joining Dragon IP, Rita has worked as a research engineer for five years in the field of digital audio and video broadcasting.
Qualified as a patent attorney before the SIPO
M.S. degree in Microelectronics and Computer System from McGill University in Canada, 2003-2006. B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Tianjin University, 1994-1998.
