The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (CIIP) in Oman has announced that the official fees of some IP services provided by the Ministry have been cancelled with effect from May 30, 2023.
Pursuant to Ministerial Decision No. 292/ 2023, the official fees of the following IP services have been eliminated for both individuals and companies:
- Obtaining a copy of the post-grant patent for companies.
- Obtaining a copy of the post-grant patent for small businesses.
- Obtaining a copy of the patent after granting it to students and researchers.
- Obtaining a copy of the corporate patent register.
- Obtaining a copy of the patent register for small enterprises.
- Obtaining a copy of the patent register for students and researchers.
- Publishing with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.
