It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Knud Raffnsøe, FICPI President of Honour, 1994-1997.
Knud graduated in 1965 from Technical University in Copenhagen as a M.Sc in Electronic Engineering, and was subsequently hired by International Patent-bureau in Copenhagen where he served as partner until his retirement in 2005.
Knud was married to Hanne in 1961 whom he met in Aarhus while being a high school student at a jazz club.
Knud was unfortunately diagnosed with dementia in 2004 but with Hanne's good care he lived a rich life both in Spain in their Almunecar 2nd home and in Denmark.
Knud's funeral will take place on 25th of June, 12.00 at Nivaa Church, Nivaa Kirkevej 3, 2990 Nivaa, Denmark.
We extend our deepest sympathy to his wife Hanne, son Michael and daughters Eva and Jette and Knud's seven grandchildren.
