I started working in the field of intellectual property law shortly after my University studies more than 30 years ago. Since my admission as a German Patent Attorney in 2001, I have been advising and representing especially founders of new businesses and companies in all matters of intellectual property law. The concerns of my clients can be discussed in a confidential manner in my own offices. As a patent attorney I have experience in many technical fields, e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, furniture, food and consumer goods industry, material technologies, e.g. composite materials. This enables me to conduct intellectual property proceedings, in particular before the German Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization. A further focus of my work is on Trademark law, which is of particular importance for trade, commerce and industry. I have extensive experience in obtaining, defending and enforcing trademark rights as well as in defending my clients against claims arising therefrom. This enables me to conduct trademark law proceedings of all kinds, in particular before the Office of the European Union for Intellectual Property in Alicante/Spain, as well as before the German Patent and Trademark Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization.

The enforcement of intellectual property rights and the defense against attacks by competitors is carried out by me, and - if a collision with a competitor cannot be settled out of court – in cooperation with attorneys at law. In addition, I can rely on a worldwide network of corresponding attorneys in all relevant industrial countries. They support me in national intellectual property law proceedings, e.g. in Turkey, USA, Mexico, Korea, Japan, China etc.
