Dipl.-Ing. (Univ.) Volker A. Wörz

I grew up partially in England and Italy. Therefore, I am fluent in English and Italian. 

I obtained a degree in electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich in 1993, specializing in open and closed loop control technology. After University I worked with IBM Germany GmbH in the field of development of hardware and software for the control of production machines. 

I have been working in the field of intellectual property since 1995. I worked with a large patent law firm in Stuttgart (Germany) for almost 20 years, of these 18 years as a partner and 7 years as a senior partner. From 2018 to 2022 I worked with a smaller patent law firm in Stuttgart (Germany). At the beginning of 2023 I started my own patent law firm. Due to my many years of experience and our worldwide contacts in the field of intellectual property, we are able to offer our clients a highly efficient, personalized and comprehensive service in the field of intellectual property.

I am a German and European Patent and Trademark Attorney since 1997. I am a registered representative before the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), the Federal Patents Court (BPatG), the Federal Supreme Court (BGH) for patent invalidation actions, the European Patent Office (EPO) responsible for regional EP-Patents, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) responsible for registered Community Trademarks and Designs and the Unified Patent Court (UPC) responsible for litigation and invalidation of EP-Patents and Unitary Patents.
