Innovator Diversity Pilots Conference

Join us on Friday, November 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT in person or virtually for a conference, co-organized with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the Santa Clara University School of Law, where we will focus on innovator diversity pilot projects and effective practices to increase participation in innovation.

  • Valencia Martin Wallace, Deputy Commissioner for Patents, USPTO 

Conference participants will:

  • Share with peers and learn from others' practices for increasing diversity and inclusion in invention and innovation, and hear evidence of their effectiveness. 
  • Hear from leading academics and the USPTO about how to run pilot programs and quantify their impact using best practices. 
  • Join a community of leaders exploring novel ways to increase the participation of women and underrepresented groups in innovation and inventing.

Registration is $55 for in-person attendance, $20 for online attendance, and free of charge for attendees from non-profits. Registration is open until November 18.
