8 December 2021 // Women at the Table

In this FICPI Focus 45 webinar, Caitlin Kraft Buchman, Founder and CEO of Women at the Table, will discuss bias and inequality in technology which permeates every decision we make as individuals and organisations, and highlight how biases in algorithms play out in every facet of contemporary life and exacerbate the potential of permanently wiring in bias and inequality at scale.  Moderated by Louis-Pierre Gravelle of IP firm Bereskin & Parr in Canada.

Caitlin Kraft Buchman is the Founder and CEO of Women at the Table

Caitlin, from New York and permanently based in Geneva, is the CEO/Founder of Women at the Table.  A serial coalition builder, she is also the co-founder of the International Gender Champions (2015), the architect of the World Trade Organization's Buenos Aires Declaration for Trade and Women's Economic Empowerment (2017), and the Gender Responsive Standards Declaration joined by 50+ standards making bodies (2019), and co-founder / leader of the <A+> Alliance for Inclusive Algorithms (2019)

Women at the Table also works to increase representation of women at the leadership level and throughout organisations.
