ARIPO grants and administers the intellectual property (IP) titles of its 22 Member States and provides IP information to its clientele through search services, publications, and awareness creation. IP titles are granted under the Harare Protocol for patents, industrial designs, and utility models, the Banjul protocols on marks, and the Arusha Protocol on plant varieties.
