Cancellation, Refund & Substitution Conditions
Cancellations or substitutions should be requested in writing to [email protected]
Registration fee refunds will be made as follows:
- Cancellations received up to April 30, 2024 - 100% of registration fees will be refunded.
- Between April 30, 2023 and May 25, 2024 - 50% of registration fees will be refunded.
- After May 25, 2024 – no refunds; substitutions permitted.
Please note that FICPI-UK is not responsible for cancellation of attendance for any personal or work reasons, and no exceptions to the refund policies set forth herein will be made. You are therefore strongly recommended to check your personal travel insurance in case you need to cancel your attendance at the meeting for any unforeseen reason.
Climate
Edinburgh has a maritime climate, characterised by mild weather and like the rest of the United Kingdom it is unpredictable. The average temperatures in June range between 15-17°C (or 59-63 °F). Rain is possible at any time of year, but summer is generally dryer.

Power Connection
230V 50Hz AC. Plug sockets use a 3 pin plug. Those travelling from overseas will need to have an appropriate adaptor.

Please ensure any requirements are stated at the time of registration.
VAT: refunds for non-EU businesses visiting the UK
For non-UK attendees (in firms without EU offices) you should be able to recoup the VAT that has been paid on your delegate fee and accommodation.
