Accelerating Life Sciences Innovation
This webinar will take place at 3:00pm Central European Time.
FICPI is delighted to welcome Dr Anji Miller, Senior Partner for Academic Engagement at LifeArc, to the FICPI Focus 45 session on 17 June 2026.
Anji leads LifeArc’s academic engagement and translational training programmes, including the organisation’s flagship fellowship initiatives. These programmes are designed to build a pipeline of innovation professionals, researchers, inventors, and technology transfer specialists, equipped with the skills, judgement, and confidence needed to move early‑stage life sciences discoveries toward real‑world patient impact.
LifeArc has a strong focus on rare diseases, with much of its work delivered in close partnership with key organisations across the translational ecosystem. Alongside its investment in science, LifeArc places particular emphasis on ensuring that translational research becomes impactful therapeutics and diagnostics. Central to this approach is the development of innovation professionals who can work with complex science to evaluate, protect, and commercialise technologies so they reach the populations that need them most.
In conversation with webinar host Louis-Pierre Gravelle, FICPI Deputy Secretary General and Partner at Dipchand LLP, she will explore how LifeArc approaches translation as a system, from accelerating target discovery and biomarker development to supporting clinical pathway innovation, data‑informed decision‑making, and effective collaboration across academia, industry, and the IP profession. Drawing on Anji’s experience across technology transfer, IP strategy, licensing, and skills development, the discussion will highlight the critical role of people, partnerships, and professional capability in successful translation.
Join us as we discuss the future of translational science, and how building the right skills, partnerships, and professional pathways is essential to turning promising discoveries into meaningful patient outcomes.
