Andy is a registered Australian and New Zealand patent attorney. He has been a Principal at MBIP since 2017.
Andy is experienced in preparing patent applications in the fields of mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, physics and general engineering.
In the course of his career, Andy has worked on a wide variety of patent matters. The types of projects that he has been involved in range from traditional materials and chemical technologies in the mining and metallurgy industries to emerging fields such as nanotechnology and bio-medical devices. Andy helps individual inventors as well as small enterprises, research institutes and universities.
Drafting patent specifications and managing patent portfolios for a variety of local and small to medium sized enterprises is a major part of Andy’s day to day work. He regularly drafts and prosecutes patent applications that relate to mechanical engineering, materials science, chemical processes & general engineering.
