Ms. Edith Sokol

As a co-founding partner at Cohn, de Vries, Stadler & Co., Edith coordinates the professional service and practice in technological fields relating to chemistry, materials and chemical engineering. Her clients span a broad range of companies and industries, from local, seed start-ups, through venture capital funds, up to global corporations; among them are leading industrial companies in the Israeli economy.

Her multidisciplinary engineering background and expertise allowed her to accumulate vast experience in strategic IP counseling, IP portfolio-building and management in diverse technological fields , including materials science, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, chemical engineering and process development, medical devices, healthcare, water technologies, cleantech, renewables, foodtech, agritech, and more.

In addition to providing IP services to tech-transfer units of leading Israeli universities, Edith has been teaching advanced courses in business aspects of intellectual property for several years as part of a special MBA program for the biomedical industries at The Jerusalem School of Business Administration of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
