About me
I have drafted and prosecuted patent applications in micro- and nanotechnology, semiconductors, photonics, measurement technology, medical devices, energy generation and storage, electrochemistry and the Internet of Things. I also enjoy the challenge of patenting simple devices for everyday use. My book Good Patent Applications (Boco IP, 2021) discusses the building blocks of a valuable application. I'm working on a second book called Problem-Solution Arguments at the European Patent Office.
