About me

With a background in Organic Chemistry and a law degree specializing in Intellectual Property Rights, Cyber Law and Commercial Law, I work at the intersection of science and law to help innovators protect and maximize the value of their ideas.

Over the past decade, I have handled a broad spectrum of patent matters - including drafting, prosecution, oppositions, appeals, and international portfolio management - across India, Singapore, Malaysia, and the wider ASEAN region.

Beyond client advisory, I’ve led the setup and management of regional IP operations, including building patent teams, streamlining cross-border workflows, and aligning local practices with international standards to ensure quality and consistency across jurisdictions.

My technical experience spans life sciences, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, biotechnology, electronics, and software. I support clients through every stage of the patent lifecycle, from early-stage assessments to examiner negotiations, grant strategy, and enforcement planning.

I actively engage with global IP communities through memberships in FICPI, INTA, and APPA, which keep me connected to evolving best practices and emerging trends in the field.
