Mr. Jehad Ali Ghrayeb Hasan

Jehad Al Hassan is a Jordanian University graduate with over three decades of experience in the field of intellectual property in the Middle East. Mr. Al Hassan has resided in Qatar and UAE for over 20 years and in this time worked in some of the most prominent IP firms in the surrounding region before setting up JAH Intellectual Property in 1999. Initially, JAH IP solely operated from one office in Qatar but since then has expanded exponentially over the years and now the firm holds fully staffed offices in all the other GCC states as well as most other Arab countries.

JAH Intellectual Property concentrates on IP protection and enforcement in the region. Services offered include; portfolio management, client representation before Middle Eastern Patent and Trademark Offices, aiding clients with court actions and dispute resolution, and drafting licensing and co-existence agreements; an IP boutique in every respect.

Mr. Al Hassan acts as an advisor for clients on a huge range of brand protection, trademark, and design services. His ability to consider the market reality alongside his client’s intentions makes him very successful at creating a comprehensive approach to IP protection and successfully securing and maintaining IP assets. He participates readily in an advisory role for several consulting boards within semi-governmental bodies. This participation keeps him well aware of the legislative developments in the area. In addition to this, he is an active member in both national and international IP forums and has contributed to multiple foreign and domestic associations in relation to the implementation of IP legislation.
