Dear FICPI Friends,
10 February 2026: It has come to our attention that scammers are pretending to be from FICPI.
A scam email is currently being sent to FICPI members, falsely requesting travel agency recommendations on behalf of FICPI. This message is not legitimate. Please delete it and do not respond or share any information.
FICPI never asks members for travel agency contacts or referrals in this manner. If you have already replied, please contact the Secretariat.
I copy below a sample of the kind of email received for your reference:

Subject: Request for Travel Support.
Greetings from FICPI.
This email is to formally seek Travel support.
The service of a travel agency is required for international flight bookings. We humbly request that you kindly recommend and introduce the travel agency that you use for flight bookings.
Kindly provide the Agency name, Contact person, Email address and Phone numbers
We kindly request that you notify the agency of this recommendation or put the agency in cc of the introductory email; we will then contact and negotiate our bookings with the agency directly.
