The Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industryannounced on 28th February 2022 that business-related deadlines will be suspended, as long as there is martial law in the country. Martial law was introduced in Ukraine at 5:30 a.m. on February 24 2022 for the term of 30 days.

The Ukrainian PTO is not staffed (people cannot risk going to work), but online filings are still working, as long as there is Internet connection.

In Russia and Belarus, the PTOs and other local authorities are working as usual, deadlines and terms are still valid. However, sanctions may impact banks and sending funds in and out of these jurisdictions.

There should be no immediate danger of loss of IP rights, as official fees can usually be paid up to six months post filing.
