Vanessa has extensive experience managing IP portfolios (Patents, Trademarks, Domain names, Models, Copyrights, Designs, Plant Variety, Geographical Indications) as she advises and represents clients in strategic areas such as brand development and implementation, protection / registration, maintenance and acquisition of Intellectual Property, due diligence, pre-litigation and litigation processes, and transactions (franchising, licensing and transfers).
Vanessa is an active member of communities such as International Trademark Association (INTA), European Communities Trademark Association (ECTA), Pharmaceutical Trade Marks Group (PTMG), International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI)
In addition to Intellectual Property, Vanessa also provides legal and advisory services in business law under OHADA, corporate and commercial law, Global mobility & corporate immigration, Oil & Gas, Energy & Natural resources, Employment & Labour, Dispute resolution, Regulatory & Compliance.
