FICPI’s Focus 45 webinars continue for the 2022-2023 season, and are a valuable free benefit to FICPI members.*

Please join us for our first webinar in the series by Dr. Renate Weisse, a FICPI member and patent holder herself, who will discuss “Why there are so few women inventors and what to do about it" and how to encourage women to become innovators, and her soon to be published book on the topic of women inventors.

We are delighted to welcome you back to a new series of our popular FICPI Focus 45 webinars.

In this session, Louis-Pierre Gravelle, our Focus 45 Moderator will discuss female inventors and encouraging women to become innovators with Dr. Renate Weisse.

Renate is author of a book about female inventors, a German and European Patent Attorney and holds a PhD in Engineering. She acts as a role model to promote STEM subjects and her profession to women.

The book will be released in autumn 2022. In the book Renate discusses why there are so few female inventors in Germany (only around 6%) and what can be done to change this.

You are welcome to stay online after the webinar for 15 minutes for freeform discussions with Renate and Louis-Pierre in our Wonder room - the link will be provided during the webinar.

*FICPI members please log in to access the Zoom registration link.

Non-members - there is now an Euro 50 charge per webinar
